Josh Heintz - Principal

Josh Heintz is originally from Louisville, KY and earned his BBA in Finance from UAB before completing his MBA at Auburn University. Prior to founding Insight Advisory Group, he spent years as a successful operator and executive in a variety of industries, including real estate, telecommunications, automotive, retail, distribution, and even non-profit! Most recently, Josh lead the Mergers & Acquisitions Department for a large, national real estate company that specialized in residential single family, multi-family and HOA property management.

While proficient at the technical aspects of valuation, deal structuring and negotiation, Josh most enjoys working with company owners to determine the right “how and when” to sell their business. Knowing firsthand the challenges and rewards of running a business, Josh always works to ensure company owners get the most out of their business when it’s time to exit. Josh now resides in Birmingham, AL with his wife and four children. When he isn’t working he is playing golf or spending time with his family, usually at one of his kid’s basketball tournaments.
